International School-Seminar “Spectroscopy of Molecules and Crystals” was founded by professor Galyna Puchkovska and is held biannually starting from 1973. The next XX International School-Seminar “Spectroscopy of Molecules and Crystals” will be held at September 20-27, 2011 on the west coast of the Crimea in village Beregove, at Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University’s recreation and sports complex “Chaika”
The meeting is organized by Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Institute of Physics of NASU, Ministry of Ukraine on Education and Science, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Ukrainian Physical Society.
Traditional topics of the School cover recent advances in theoretical and experimental spectroscopy of: crystalline solids, nanosystems, liquid crystals and amorphous materials, liquids, gases, polymers and biological systems, surface, thin films, intermolecular interaction. Computer simulation, nonlinear optical phenomena, new spectroscopic methods and applications are considered too.
The working language of the School will be English.
Oral reports will be of two kinds: lectures (40 min) and reports (20 min).
The possibility of multimedia presentation (PowerPoint) will
be provided.
Poster presentation: the width of the poster should not exceed 1 meter.
